Okay guys, so this new mysterious model Ox Alpha is making news and everybody’s talking about this model because it’s super capable and it’s free! Right now it’s in stealth mode, and in stealth mode what companies do is they try the LLM models and they might train based on your input. But yes, we have this new model Ox Alpha, and I might have a guess that which company might be trying this.
Here you can see on Open Router you can try this model yourself. It’s a super good model and it’s currently free, and you can see the speed is also not bad. You can really use it to create apps, you can use it to create websites, and games and all those things.
Let me show you how it worked in my test when I used this model!
Testing 3D Games with Ox Alpha Model: Spider-Man & Snake Ladder
Here you can see this is the first game I started, this Spider-Man game. You just click here to swing… this looks super great how Spider-Man is flying! You can use a mouse to move the direction of the Spider-Man, but it’s not the best game. I think the best game until now was Gemini 3.7 Flash. But it looks really, really nice.
Then I created a Snake Ladder game using Ox Alpha. Looks really nice! It followed the instruction and everything I gave it. The prompt given to this model was to create a snake ladder game, make sure it got trees, snakes should consist of neon color. And here you can see the game created by Ox Alpha works really, really nice. Just because this game it created and a website it created, I know which model it could be in stealth mode.
Building a Subscription Tracking App with Ox Alpha Ai model
Let me show another example when I created an app for subscription tracking. In the first version it did not work, everything was problematic. But when I asked it to create a working app and gave it a screenshot of the app, it worked really nice.
You can add anything, for example, let’s add Amazon and then let’s say $12. It looks really nice, we also have dark mode and light mode. What I really like about this app… I tested this app using different models like Gemini 3.7 Flash, 3.8 Max, ChatGPT Sol, GPT Terra, even GLM 5.3. But I think this is the best app created by this model because all this little details on these cards does not consist in any other model! Everything works really, really nice. Importing is not at all a problem, categories work also really nice. In initial tests, it looks very promising.
The Paris Game Struggle : OX alpha model was struggling here
Now let me show you I created a Paris night game with this model. It was not able to make it. In the first attempt, it was not able to make this game—the same thing I faced with Qwen 3.8. I created this game six times, every time was really complicated, this was really problematic.
When it started working, it was very dark and I said no I don’t want dark, we cannot see anything! I told this game to add some colors, it is so bland, and make things look real. It didn’t work. Then I said okay, make a Paris day game. Finally, we are able to create the game. It looks nice, the game is very fluid, the controls are working nice, but some things are not really clean, the car just got stuck everywhere. But very bad graphics… yeah it’s a 3D game, I do not expect a free trial model which created this game in just a few minutes to have realistic graphics.
The Ultimate VPN Website Test with ox alpha Ai model (free Ai)
So this is the last example, I asked it to create a website for a VPN app. The prompt was: create a very professional website for an app launching soon… take inspiration from existing successful app websites.
It checked all the recent app websites like NordVPN, ExpressVPN, ProtonVPN, and it created the best website, and this website is created in only the first attempt! I was super, super impressed with this. I tested with all the models, with OpenAI models, Gemini earlier models, Claude Opus 5, Claude Sonnet 5… this is the best website created by any model about this VPN app.
You can see the hero screen here and you have this real nice animation. It perfectly looks like a very, very good website. I love this design, I think one of the best designs and websites generated by any model until now. I never had such a great website by any other model using that prompt.
Which Model is Ox Alpha? (My Guess!)
Now let’s talk about which model it could be because it’s in stealth mode right now. I think I have some guess. Do you think these both websites look similar or not? Honestly, I think this Ox Alpha website looks similar to Gemini 3.7 Flash.
You can see how the buttons are created, the font is also very similar, the color combinations is very, very similar. It is really, really very possible that this might be the newer Gemini versions because we are getting newer versions like every 15 days. Or maybe this is the 3.5 Pro or another Pro version from Gemini.
If we compare the FAQ section and review section, how it arranged things and everything, I really think this is the same model or you can see it’s the same family. My guess would be that Ox Alpha might be a new model of Gemini, or it might be a baby between Qwen and Gemini! Because a lot of things, for example, the Paris game exactly same problem I faced with Qwen 3.8 Max. Maybe another lab is testing mixing both these models. But for now, my guess is this is very close to the Gemini models, and I will not be surprised if Gemini will say tomorrow it’s 3.8 Flash.
